Not to generalise, and I’m aware there are noted exceptions — specifically around here — but what it is with that generation of fan?

They came up when Port Adelaide was at its ruthless best, when winning wasn’t everything, it was the only thing. When titanic figures such as Fos Williams, Russell Ebert and later Jack Cahill weren’t safe, if it meant a greater chance of success going forward.

And yet here they are, enduring a decade of turgid ‘NEAR ENOUGH IS GOOD ENOUGH’ garbage, and the only people they raise their ire at is fellow fans who are absolutely baffled that this is tolerable.

Ive heard this one many times when i have criticised Port and Hinkley.

Apparently if you have anything negative to say even though you have been a paid up member forever and have the right to be critical, you should go support a different team

NB: anyone who uses the term "Tingles" must be about 80 years old

It's Barry Curtin's fault. He should be the first once sacked after Hinkley goes. It's embarrassing that man is on the club's payroll.
