Just watched the second Rock and Raz podcast. It appears Rocky got a scolding from the club about his advertiser article.

Any Buckley fans still keen on him after seeing how uninspiring he is in the media?
He called Joel Selwood a ducker last week, he's my favourite AFL media personality by far.

Was that the exchange with Dunstall?

If so, that's not how i heard it

He was saying some Collingwood player was good at lowering himself to draw frees. Dunstall challenged him on if it's a legit tactic or if he'd try to coach it out of him. Buckley said it was good because it gets free kicks. Dunstall said it's shit. Buckley said what about Selwood? Dunstall said he doesn't like when he does it either, then backtracked and said but he's a great courageous player blah blah.

“It would be brutal to sack Hinkley after a poor year this year” -David King at half time

How wishy washy is this blokes opinion?

Cricket Australia sacked Justin Langer on the heels of Australia smoking England in The Ashes. Such is life, Kingy...you twat.

Ken has the AFL media hoodwinked, it's fckn bizarre.
10 years of Pus and zero GF and it's brutal...FMD.

Those comments are hard to reconcile really.

They have a stated ambition of winning the premiership and they all seem to believe they can achieve that. Well, you win premierships from the top 4. And to make the top 4 from here, they're going to need to win at least 15 of 20 games. That's a tough ask in general, let alone from the starting point of looking at where the form line has been from the PF to pre season games to the first two rounds.

The fans asking questions is completely reasonable - again, given the goals and ambitions that they have publicly set themselves of winning the premiership.

I always go back to Hartlett’s comments following that humiliating loss to North Melbourne a couple of years ago.

Hartlett said something along the lines of “Ken told us that our performance doesn’t define us as human beings”. Basically, just relax, it’s all a game at the end of the day.

True in theory, but that type of approach only leads to mediocrity in sports results. It certainly will not give the players enough hunger or desire to win a premiership.

In that moment I realised that Hinkley’s tentacles had stretched beyond the PAFC purse and into the minds of our players and the culture of our club. There are some players now with that mindset that unfortunately I don’t think can be salvaged.

It’s all the more reason to sack Hinkley as soon as possible - to stop polluting our younger players’ minds.

Sorry to intrude, but would you lot like Nicks back?

We'll even throw in a book of Hungry Jack's vouchers to sweeten the deal. You can't go wrong with two Whoppers for $9.95.
