I see it the same. We'll get the press conference the Monday after the Essendon game where they'll call it a mutual decision, and then we'll get a disgusting festival of Hinkley for a week leading into the Showdown. I can't see him going out without a farewell game, not under Koch.
For bonus disgusting points, watch them make it a joint Robbie Gray/Ken Hinkley farewell game and make sure not to mention Hinkley's name without mentioning Robbie's name at the same time, because they know nobody is going to boo Robbie. They might even chair them off at the same time.

I wouldn't say Ken getting chaired off is likely but it's also not impossible.

When did our club lose sight of this
The Creed is The Creed, but that very last bit, eschews the coach from responsibility in losses. It should be amended.

The human endeavour of using the brain, has clearly not been exhausted by Ken very often.

Just imagine the icy atmosphere at this year's B&F if Ken is still coach. No doubt his speech would be full of more empty promises for next year, as well as numerous excuses about why this year didn't go to plan. I certainly wouldn't waste my money by attending.

Because they enjoy the angst it would cause in the supporter base if it were to happen. They want to see people stop going to games etc. Their feeble little minds absolutely adore threads like this.

If I wanted to ask for a tactical analysis on any game, the Adelaide board is the absolute LAST place I'd go. They still think Darcy Fogarty is going to come good, FFS.

The more important question is - why are fans of other clubs calling for him to be sacked? I mean, other than for the easy likes that you all give them when they post here.
For myself it’s the repeated stories of fans being ignored and dismissed by an out of control board. And this situation where members seem to lack a say or representation.

So I am standing with the fan base - similar to our board back in 1996 who were seeking a merger. Hopefully the members and fans get their opinion heard and listened to.

That's as close to GF week build up he will ever get, Donuts Hinkley departure week.

I just had this horrible thought that Koch will not make a call on Donuts because he won't want any distraction or disruption for the womens team start up.
If that's how he wants to play, then maybe the answer is to stay away from the Showdown. Imagine a Port Showdown, where Port fans are drowned out by Crows fans.

I'll buy a ticket just to loudly read out Ken stats

I have a horrible thought thay Koch is going to see out Ken's full contract because he thinks it will badly reflect on his business acumen and his "brand" if he does not.

We are at the point where even (non-numpty) supporters of other clubs can see how badly he needs to go and are gunning for it. This is unprecedented.

Hawks and Bombers win this week and we lose to Rich, the heat really starts to turn up.

Ken doesn’t like pressure, we’ve seen it in big games, in pressers when he’s pushed, in contract negotiations and if the rumours are to be believed with assistant coaches speaking up.

It won’t happen before but at years end he’s done.
