Part of me thinks (hopes) the club is remaining tight lipped publicly because behind closed doors they’re planning to offload Hinkley to North.

But it is more likely the club is silent on Hinkley to avoid conflict the same way they were silent after the prelim.

Yeah could go either way but on face value why would you keep him for next year if Clarko is keen on coming here over North and GWS.

I’m more interested in hearing no news from North or GWS re Clarko.

I mean, even beyond the meme of Donuts thinking that we were still a chance to play finals, the idea that we would be causing anyone problems in finals is laughable. There's no club in the league that is a better friend of a would be grand finalist than Port Adelaide on prelim final day.

Port have become a club where they say nothing and hope it goes away

The media and especially Kornes have been gung-ho about Port and it’s supporters showing Hinkley some respect and letting him finish out the season. They’ve constantly repeated that now is not the time to discuss changing coaches.

Meanwhile Barrett has reported that if North cannot land Clarko (they won’t) then they will be giving Hinkley a call. You can bet that Hinkley will pick up. How’s that for a show of loyalty and respect?

Anyway. Sack Hinkley.

Lmao, our blokes get out muscled all the time so there is no way Ken is getting chaired off.

Tom Clurey can meekly piggy back him.

A Sack Koch sticker on the same sign would be fukcing hilarious

On the other side of the sign, so Ken can see it this time.

Hmmm. That list included Cameron Hitchcock, John Butcher, Campbell Heath, Lewis Stevenson, Mason Shaw, Sam Colquhoun, Jarrad Redden, Mitch Harvey, Tom Logan and Ben Newton.

Geelong’s 2006 list included: Tim Callan, Kane Tenace, Paul Koulouriotis, Ryan Gamble, Charlie Gardiner, Peter Riccardi, Kent Kingsley, Henry Playfair, Nathan Ablett, Matthew Spencer, Matthew McCarthy, David Johnson, Brent Prismall and Trent West.

Literally every single list has a bunch of spuds or futureless chaff on it.

Someone needs to get into the member guard of honour this week and wear a sack Hinkley t shirt

Another fun fact. We haven’t beaten a team in their home state this year with our only away wins coming against St Kilda in Cairns and North in Tasmania.
Even the things we were once good at have fallen by the wayside :(. Ken really has decided to leave us in exactly the same state as he found us :(.

This tickled my funny bone. Recent conversation between a Port fan and a Collingwood fan - apparently the Pies fan has been calling Ken Hinkley "WaB" for months. The Port fan asked him, "What the * is WaB?" He replied, "Weekend at Bernie's, doesn't matter how s**t you are playing, he just stares out like a corpse."

Koch on AA this morning:

"We have underperformed this year to our expectation, there's absolutely no doubt about that. And I'm not going to give excuses there are reasons for it, and we'll be as we do at the end of every season assess our entire football program, because it's a football program issue, it's not any one individual it's a program issue, and we'll be assessing and making changes at the end of the year."

Whilst David can be a hard read at times, this is the first admittance that there will be changes to the footy department at the club at the end of the season.

Chad to midfield and shirts off at summer training.
