i grabbed a couple of slabs of the Hofler German larger one light one full strength $50 the lot. Really worth a look George the light is amazing the best I’ve ever had by a mile. It tastes like a full strength German larger which is amazing at 2.7%.

I'm one of those drink to get drunk types but I will definitely give it a look, German lager is my favourite.

Having a quiet one this weekend, about to start repainting and doing some plastering work around the house so the smell of paint will be enough for me I reckon.

Also heading to Manila next weekend and Hong Kong for the week following, and my boss has Qantas first class lounge access so I'm planning to get hammered in the lounge and on the plane as I tune into the Saints game on the radio. Hopefully the connectivity is decent enough to listen in without interruptions.

What's on for tomorrow?

Got the brisket lined up and bought a bunch of groceries for an all day BBQ. 29 degrees, nothing better.

Going to head up to Dan's tonight and pick out some stuff. Immediate thought was Jameson cans, but we'll see. I usually head in there knowing what I want and come out with something completely different.

Got about 20 pallets of Jamo cans right by me
Could sell you one cheap lol

Not doing much
Might have a crack at some biltong in the dryer
Nothing special for food prob beef and a big salad
Drinkies be a few black barrels and maybe a gin if it heats up, think it’s 30 odd in sa

I might go for a browse at dan‘s before lunch and grab a few things.

I was heading for dan’s but decided it was such a lovely day I’d have a beer at the wick. My eldest son, my wife and the patch man all enjoyed some drinks in the sun at the local. I think in addition to the beer I might grab a bottle of lemoncello which will go well over crushed ice on a hot late spring day.
