Gotta find a way to kick a winning score.

Owens will play, but he still isn't a target who demands the footy. Sharman coming back the week after will help here.

Gerard Healy on commentary made an excellent point re: Hammer, that he's been in the system a couple of seasons now but has not shown any improvement from day 1, and I reckon that's fair. His game relies on his natural traits, but he doesnt have any more impact on a match than his debut season. So we need a way to unlock that improvement in him, it either needs to be in the backline or at Sandy.

Marshall looked proppy so we've gotta be careful with him - Boyd looks like he's running thru sand so we need Marshall back playing in the middle ASAP. Not sure playing him forward but underdone helps that happen.

Ross sounded happy with Mason Wood playing deeper forward, and Hall did OK. And Higgins picks himself. So the question marks are on Marshall and Hammer.

Would be curious to know how they boys went at Sandy yesterday.

Caminiti's main problem is pretty straight forward - he's a late pick youngster who has for a lot of his massive 34 game career has been expected to play as the only key forward in our team.

And on top of that he's also expected to occasionally help out in the ruck or in defence.

yeah
I’m cooked

Enright will take 14 uncontested grabs as well

They’ll pump us by 7 goal
Double that to 14 goals and you will be closer to the mark IMO

Cant see us getting anywhere near them

Geelong had 13 goalkickers , we had 7 , who do we have to match up on Stengle, Close ,Miers Dempsey and them you chuck in Cameron, Neale and Henry = We are stuffed

I reckon you’re spot on.
Hope not. Now is not the time to take the safe approach.
