Did anyone see the moment where there'd been a mark or free kick in our forward line with a bit of push & shove, and Rance shoved Bruce & he feigned that he was taken High & pointed at Rance saying something around the lines of 'I'm doing what you do...'

Still buzzing from last night.
What a great statement from the boys.
Too many positives to mention.
Roo - just not enough words, he pushed himself to the limit
Longer - easily his best game of his career. Put the body on the line all night.
Lonie - got into the heads of the tigers defence.
Ross - just getting better and better
Koby - what a pick up
Steele - how did he only cost a 2nd rounder?
Geary - first half was him making a statement.
Long - want to see more of him. On the tv seemed to be everywhere and seemed to have time when he had the ball.
Carlisle and Brown - amazing to think what 2 kpd have done for the set up.

If Jack Steele is so good in the clinches and 1%ers with no preseason imagine him next year and the year after...

Easily my favourite player in our team at the moment. So honest and makes the tackles stick.

Not to mention that this is his first year at AFL level where he is actually playing in the midfield and so is very much still learning on the job.

Don't think Weller is though. Long was better last night that Mav's been all year. I'm still hoping to reunite the Weller's... Just not at St Kilda.

Go easy on the Cotch. A really decent bloke. For sucked in to giving Lonie a punch, but he won't be the last. Trent is a strong advocate for blokes dealing with anxiety, etc, and is doing some great stuff. Also has a good dog that's lucky to be alive.

Richo seems a good bloke, doesn't stop you from claiming he is ruining the club every second week.

Great scenes with Roo and his parents after the game. His old man so proud.

Was talking to client who lost her son when he was 21. She says it helped really appreciate life and what they have even more. They take nothing for granted.

Suspect it's a similar feeling at the Roo clan.

I undertsnad the critisism of Weller but I think we need to give him a bit of a break firstly the Hawthorn game was close to his best for the club 28 disposals and 2 goals after that IIRC he had an injury and to me hasn't been the same since. I agree he needs to go back to the VFl to get some form but lets be frank at his best he is best 22 as is acres who Just by the way was a class above in the twos and should be the next one in.

Those two instances and last nights halftime result are the three biggest half time leads in the clubs history

Great detective work there George......there great stats and bring back GREAT memories.....I was at the 2 games you listed and of course last night.

Having those big leads means you can just sit back and relax....no heart pills needed....blood pressure down....a general calm.....lol.
