I can’t believe Sam doesn’t have his own thread.

I didn’t want to be the one to do it but he has got to be one of the most promising 20 year olds I’ve ever seen in over 30 years of watching footy.

He is everything I thought Tom Boyd would be doing this early in his career. Averaging 2.2 goals a game (while competing with Naughton & Jamarra) and ranked 8th in the competition for contested marks average per game.

At 208 cm, highly skilled on both sides, strong hands and only will get stronger. Great kick for goal. I haven’t seen another player like him before.

At this rate, Harley Reid will have competition for the rising star award.

He's a monster. Terrifying prospect.

Another brilliant game by Sam. Has now kicked 22 goals and top 6 in contested marks in the comp.

He is fast becoming our most dangerous forward. Already strong and will only get stronger over the next few years. Will miss a couple of weeks with that hit on Maynard tonight.

Going to be a nightmare for opposition when he fills out. Already too tall but when he becomes too strong, defenders are going be helpless. He has that little bit of ego and competitiveness which I think will take him to the elite level - truly has it all to become one of the best in the league

He’s completely overshadowed compared to a certain N. Daicos and H. Reid for a bloke who could genuinely be the best player in the league pretty soon. He’s Tim English with a bit of C U in the NT about him.

Couldn’t be that far of the rising star, really. Reid has been incredible, no doubt, but it’s it’s that often a bloke less than 20 games into his career shows this much dominance as a forward.

He's nothing like English who's soft as butter. Has much more potential than him
