Player Watch Sam Darcy

Haven't seen anything like him in my 35 plus years of watching footy. I am amazed by the skills of the big fella. He is so confident on his left foot and probably after Bont is the best in the side on his non preferred.

Will be very interesting to see how he goes this season. If Naughton is the 2nd ruck and we leave Darcy primary Forward. Could kick 60 plus for the season.

Paul Salmon? He was also 208fm and was arguably better at the same age. Was leading the Coleman with 63 goals in 13 matches (ahead of Lockett, Quinlan, etc) but unfortunately did his ACL -basically a 2 year injury at that point.

He came back and was an excellent player but never as dominant as it looked like he would be. Split time between ruck and forward too, with more and more rick time as his career went on.

Darcy is phenomenal, has all the attributes and is the most deserving 'could he be the GOAT' of all the current young crop imo. Hopefully avoids injury (which is always the risk for guys that big)

Looks amazing but we need to see a lot more of him against the likes of Taylor/Andrews/May/Weitering/Battle etc.
Its no secret that Moore isn't a great one on one defender.

As good as Daicos, Sheezel, Butters are Darcy with his ability to impact a game is a mile ahead.
