A fan called in, being pretty aggressive about Sams negative comments, bloody this bloody that, get in the nursing home and Newman calls him a f#$kwit

Seemed a pretty over the top response, but he did make a good call earlier when he was told the bulldogs players had taken themselves into the massage room, "i'm tipping there won't be a happy ending in there"

I just got in the car after a day at the local footy and almost drove off the road (well not really, but you get my drift) when I heard Sam drop the F-Bomb. What a tool.

I wasn't really paying attention when i heard him say "f wit" but that made me take notice and I was wondering if that was what he really said. The few seconds following that JB & BT seemed a little stunned, and there were a couple of seconds of silence.

I think Sam Newman is one of the smartest blokes in football. Sam knows what he is talking about and sometimes he does go over the mark but that guy that rang up was a f*ckwit. footy is not entertaining anymore and that is Sams point and i cant agree with him more

Well my team is playing like crap so I can't completely agree with you. But as Foxtel played so much 80's football in the off season, I got a chance to reflect on how bland the game was in that aerial ping pong era. Such poor skills. So much mud.
