Been announced that Tom Hurley is captain and Bryce will be vice. Sellar hasn't shown anything in the way of leadership lately. Has been missing state trainings. From the outside it looks like he is getting slightly ahead of himself. Correct me if im wrong..
Fairclough is u17 not 16 and hence was added to the u18s squad (but got cut). If he was u16 he would be in the 16s squad and be ineligible for 18s (as gibbs was last year)

To Be Brutally honest although Fairy is a very good player, imo was very fortunate to get selected in the eagles league team, many better players playing reserves such as damo williamson, brad geddes, paul stewart to name a few
still good on him playd with him last year, a star player, always gave 100%.

bomber boy u obviously have a close connection with the u18's, or you are in that team!!! can u tell me how u think tom hurley will go as captain? do u think he is the right man for the job? does he have the leadership capabilities that will make him a good skipper???

yes i work with scott direen, forward/assistant coach. as for hurley, absolue gun, backs up every week and is most consistant player for his age u could ever have. If he continues his current form, wil walk in All Aus side

Gibbs is all the rage because of his pure class and natural talent but as it stands Hurley has been more impressive this year in the SANFL. Racking up the touches like an experienced player and has had an impact. Kicking goals as well, I have no doubt he will rack up most touches for SA at the carnvial and probably be our best player. Has dominated every level he has played so far, from State Under 16's, Under 17's, ressies and now league. The bigtime beckons.
