Puuuuurlaaaaaayeerrrrrrr Raaaaatingzzzzzzzz

My favourite is the Essendon poster who's mate worked for CD and said everything they do to rate players actions (i.e how they use the raw data) is complete trash. It kind of makes sense why you would then worship them.

Yep I had a mate who worked helping Fadge compile his brilliant Fadge ratings too, said it was a joke the way they were compiled. I also had a mate who knew a coach, said they laugh about the coaches votes they give. And another mate who knew someone who worked in the media, and guess what? :tearsofjoy:

From a question the commentators answered tonight, they said if Pendles plays another couple of season he will set an all time club record for games played.

Pendlebury v Martin

Is essentially

Naicos v Reid

They play similar ways and we know who will turn out better.
Bit harsh on Reid suggesting he's only gonna put together a handful of elite seasons.

He's going to be much better than that.

Fancy putting a 4 x All-Australian, 2 x Club Best and Fairest in the same discussion as 6 x AA and 5 x Club B&F Pendles, and two other players who will likely eclipse even Pendles' record...

Oh no wonder you think Pendles is better. Here are the awards you missed out:

3x NS

3x Finals MVP

1x Brownlow (record votes)

1x Coaches award (record votes)

1x MVP

Naicos and Pendles will never get close.

A very good honest player, and a nice bloke. It's hard to believe he is a Collingwood player being a likable bloke.

I remember his form line around the 2010 era was fantastic, he was the Pies talisman then.

These celebrity and/or super fights are the new Hollywood sex tape.

Washed up has-beens, or nobodies looking for a career boost - sacrificing their dignity for fame and money. For some reason, society finds this stuff interesting.

At least the appeal of the sex tape was obvious, but I just can't comprehend why people get sucked in to these fights.

I'm a massive combat sports fan, and have been for decades - but these fights are just idiotic on so many levels.

I simply don't get the interest.

We wouldn’t have gotten to see Barry Hall get splattered in humiliating fashion twice, without these “celebrity” boxing matches.

So they aren’t totally without merit.
