Scott Pendlebury - Standing in the game?

Judd captained West Coast during their WestCoke era.
How old were you during Pendles peak? Around 2010?
Just me but I'd much rather players snorting too many bags than have Bikies rocking up to training sessions to collect debts off Beams or have Degoey getting in punch ons at bars every off season.

Plus, the drug issues at WCE long predated Judd's captaincy.

Either way, Judd was a premiership captain.

Chris was Captain of West Coast for 2 years 2006-7. Agree its not really his fault but you started the game. While Pendlebury was Captain for over decade

During Chris' time as captain he had:

Player flat lining in the US end of 2006 (We would all prefer the bikies I think)
Ben Cousins crazy antics in 2006-7 was next level. Multiple incidents. 10X worse than DeGoey.
Daniel Chick high mixing drugs and alcohol while flying to games and on the way back. A lot of this was prescription stuff but also lots of recreational stuff as well.
Kerr and Cousins doing the same.
The Kerr tape being leaked in 2007 with him chatting to drug dealers. Happened originally in 2003 I think.
The coach going off at the playing group for their drug issues and culture after the end of the 2007 season.
The Chris Mainwering death 2007. Was hanging out with Cousins a bit. (Wasnt a player any more but still not cool).

No wonder he ran. He wasn't the leader needed to fix those issues.

Lots of drugs. Got it.

Similar stuff occurred under Pendles watch. Josh Thomas & Keefe, Beams, Degoey, Swan etc.

We could move on to assault next if you want.

Kerr and a taxi driver for example in 2007.
Heath Scotland 2013 Carlton
Simon White (Carlton 2014)
I'm sure there are many more.

This isn't an argument about Judds time as captain you know? The point being made was that Pendlebury wasn't the infallible leader Pies fans made him out to be.

Like many others, there were some major scandals under Pendles watch and more importantly, he was never able to captain the team to a flag.

The original dispute was that Pendlebury was a far better leader than Judd, posters mentioned that only Judd had captained his team to a flag out of the two, then the Fevola Brownlow night scandal was brought up as 'evidence' Judd was a bad leader.

That's all fair enough.

However you argued that Pendlebury had by far the greater off field issues during his time as captain. I was just trying to even that ledger.

Your statement:

"Objectively what occurred under Pendlebury's watch as captain was far worse than Judd's."
