I reckon they can but it won't be easy especially with Montmorency, Heidelberg and Bundoora all picking up players! but as Northcote showed last year you don't have to have the best list you just need the closest teamcan northcote park go back to back they seem to have a great list of young talent
... you just need the closest team
That seems to be Heidelberg's problem unfortunatelyMoreso the fittest team come GF time.

Any truth S Harvey to the Berg?
Northcote def have the best spread of players and they don't rely on a few which helps them immensely, it also shows that you only have to be in the finals to have a chance! the coaching staff def did their homework on the opposition teams and to their credit they deserved the chocolates, no one can disagree with that.getting your best side on the park at the business end is a huge part of winning.....but so is playing your best football at the right time of the year. NP timed it perfectly and the results came. Each time I saw them they looked better and the way that they played certainly changed...ie Their gameplan came together and the players started executing it well.
A lot of credit needs to go to the coaching staff who certainly changed things from previous seasons, set a plan in place, stuck to their guns when the results weren't coming, and found a group of senior players who committed to it and were able to execute it.

Would've thought before ya get to claim your king if the kids a team gets through an entire season undefeated. Perhaps this time next year there may be some merit in your claims. Until then can we keep the tone somewhere between reality and delusion.
Is this the Northcote Park appreciation society at the moment?Have u ever seen a team move the ball as quick and precise as Northcote? Thats what separates them from the other contenders, they are too fast for the Monts, Heids and Bundys, which are big bodied.
They will be up there again, but this year will be the closest year for a long time, with all the top teams recruiting very well.
We couldn't win because the finals are played on grounds that are too big, the league should seriously think about changing the venue of finals. No doubt Heidelberg was a fantastic team going through undefeated, but lets be honest they didnt have much competition besides bundy and mont and to a lesser extent north heid, all the other teams were full of kids and bundy and mont couldnt beat you guys in a final to save there life (mont still cant ), still an amazing effort to go unbeaten.
Just spoke with a contact at the leader and Ricky Dyson has signed a 2 year deal at Bundoora and it will be featured in the whittlesea leader this week, couldn't get any further details..... Not a bad get Dyson should prob still be playing the elite level.Has Ricky Dyson signed with Bundoora??

Any truth to the rumour flying around that Greensborough and Lower are not seeing eye to eye about a certain issue?Lower Plenty F.C season launch details featuring breakfast with Craig Bellamy.
Any truth to the rumour flying around that Greensborough and Lower are not seeing eye to eye about a certain issue?
That issue being that a young kid (18yo) wants to play with his mates at borough but Lower and Vinny have said no due to their massive loss in players??
Not sure of the young kids name but this "rumour" is gaining some serious momentum......
Can someone from Lower or Borough shed some light please?
Yes the player is Ricky Mullins (Greensborough) and the other one is Michael Ryan (Bundoora)Any truth to the rumour flying around that Greensborough and Lower are not seeing eye to eye about a certain issue?

So they are being denied clearances mainly because Lower are struggling for numbers?Yes the player is Ricky Mullins (Greensborough) and the other one is Michael Ryan (Bundoora)
As players have left we are coming up short on numbers so we have no choice but to deny their clearances.
They both have 2 year contracts and this will be the second year of that contract.
End of story
