well at the moment hes looking down the barrell of a two year ban from ASADA. Now im not sure what the NFL stance is on performance enhancing drugs ( as im sure theres been plenty running around with the benefits) but it wouldnt be good look in the media if he gets banned and the NFL let him play. A Casey Scorpian player got banned for 2 years for just buying stuff off the internet. He didnt even receive the goods, let alone take anything or test positive.

Lets hope Dyson isnt dragged into any mess for his sake but essendon goes down;)

Dyson had no idea it was even happening and was shocked to hear the news, Bundoora currently trying to get the weapons number....... maybe Mika Stevens has it??

Unfortunately for every other club Dyson is in no trouble at all. It was not every player at the club that was taking it. And he will be in the clear!!

Maybe the Afl can save a lot of time by just getting you in to testify.
Obviously you know... What was being taken... What ban they are going to get..... who was involved ( naming a player ) and everything else they need to know.... Thats the only explaination i can give either that or its just that you are a massive flog.

If Remiers was taking performance enhancing drugs why wasn't he any good??

Doubt it very much, the amount that it costs to do these tests far out weighs the money made from it.
If anyone does do a steroid in our comp it is mostly two's players trying to look good for summerdayze!
not to get a football benefit.....
Pretty good scare tactic though.

Northcote is travelling very well with some very handy pick ups and some real talent coming up from the under19s.

Good to hear that Lower Plenty were training hard over the weekend doing in excess of 50km's of running on their training camp.... only to get flogged on Monday night as well.

Watch the numbers dwindle as it gets harder and harder and harder until Vinny eventually convinces everyone at the club that footy isn't fun anymore!!!

MMMM.......work harder on the training track and be the best you can, earn the respect of team mates and the club as whole or turn up for a year, bludge, take a fat pay check and earn nothing but the wrath of club and supporters?


As for fun, no club provides more fun and laughs than your hapless lot;)
 
Monty picking up rowan nayna is a great get.

Played for vic metro under 18s years back and was dominant. Not sure why he didn't spend more time in the Afl system.

Gee if mont don't win it....

I have spoken to a few players and it's true they have left to go to wadonga, not sure if the club will clear them yet??? Apparently they are chasing coin and Limbach is getting a job..... Ahh well we must move on, only really lost 1 player out the three anyway!!

Three gun "flat trackers". Boy are Wodonga lucky to be able to bolster their early to mid season victories. Hope they dont have plans to play finals though!

Ah atlas, I suspect that Monty will retain them for 2013

On a serious note Kaos - With Nugent and Irish departing, whats the story with ruckmen? I know Willetts is a good size but taking Fitzg out of the forward line leaves a pretty big hole when you consider other departures up forward. With Limbach, Petiffer, Nugent, O'Hailpin, Giles, Stevens, Omeara, McGough, Swindon, Finnin and others gone is it reasonable to assume the new recruits will cover this OR not? I hear Mont have some good "ins" but the "outs" are starting to mount up to a note worthy list arent they?

Firstly: I don't play there anymore just all my mates so it takes me a day or two to find out the facts!
secondly: they havn't left until the clearance is complete
thirdly: If they do end up leaving there is no doubt that we will be in a bit of strife but for now they are all still Montmorency players, the new recruits are fitting in well and they will be great for us.

Good teams don't necessarily have the 10 best players
good teams have the best bottom 10 players so hopefully we keep the likes of Stevens, omeara, mcgough, swindon, finnin and gilesy otherwise everyone will hammer us!

I understand but if players want to leave, theres very little benefit in trying to keep them (for either party). The numbers seem too significant to be "regular turnover". Perhaps Jack returning doesnt really excite too many of the "bottom ten" you refer to? Who knows!

From what I have heard it is a little of jack but mainly people above Jack that have become obsessed with finding ex AFL players that has upset the apple cart. It's only talk at the minute so we will just wait and see if these players actually leave or they just have the shits at the minute, only time will tell

Swindon, Finnin and McGough didn't play any senior footy in 2012. Only Swindon was there and he played a half a season in the Reserves. Finnin played 1/2 Senior, Half Reserves in 2011 including the Reserves Flag, and McGough played back pocket.

Before yesterday, I'd have thought that the turnover was about averge with 4-6 senior players.... this makes it a new look side though!

Eveyone has said since I started reading this forum that Mont can't win on the big stage, chokers etc....
Maybe a personel change will change some of that???
Hey, if you don't win the big one, something's gotta change.... Finishing 2-9 is all the same in the end!
Mont will be ok. Just a different look and feel to the top 22.
