Despite what Frumpy said above, Pete Bugden simply felt that after 6 years at the club it was time to move on. He now has a new challenge in a new environment that he is very excited about. He and the club have departed on VERY good terms which is rare in these circumstances!

Never let the truth get in the way of a good yarn ay...

Hey have you heard what the Tribunal gave Mungara Brown from Fitzroy Stars??

While I still agree that a not guilty verdict was probably the correct decision at the tribunal it still leads a lot to be desired when you put it up against the 8 weeks Harrison received.

Somebody needs to seriously have a look at the way the NFL conduct it's hearings and te penalties that are given. From the decision to hand Harro 8 weeks to Mungara's 0. Not forgetting that Ryan Jackson in Div 1 was handed a 2 weeks suspension in there first final to have it increased to a 3 week suspended sentence to allow him to participate in a GF even though he was still found guilty for an off the ball incident. And I may be wrong but I do believe the coaches daughter was a member on the tribunal that evening..

Questions are being asked NFL will be interesting to see if anyone has the balls to answer the questions?? Highly doubt it to be honest

According to the NFL site, not guilty. Seems reasonable too. While it was lineball whether he ran past the footy it was shoulder to shoulder.

Chris Horman's jaw, teeth and face would indicate it wasn't "shoulder to shoulder". Hormo suffered a headache and was dazed from the knock, but luckily wasn't concussed.

All that aside, I'm glad for Mungara though... ripping fella and a great footballer

I recon Harrison has been hard done by, people need to watch the reply and see the Brown/Horman clash, (not Good) 4 to 6 weeks, NFL soft!
Yeah I to like watching Brown run around but.......

Hi Guys & Girls,

Sorry to take away the talk from recruiting and the usual Off Season stuff, but I was hoping I could get a bit of a hand from some of the people on here.

Next year my company will be running a development program from junior players for Football & Netball and we were coming up with ideas as to where to hold it in the NFL area.

We are looking at City Oval, but just wasn't sure if there was any other options available in the area.

We require:

- 2 Ovals
- Indoor Netball Courts - Skills & Fitness Testing
- Function Room/s for course work

these don't have to be all together as long as they are close to each other, walking distance.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm not all over NFL region so I thought I would ask the people in the know.

Thanks.
