Umpires were also paid more in 2013 than last year. Whilst we wouldn't run around for free, it's not like we do it for the money.

Wratten, Cowin, Bayliss, Fowkes, Perry, Van Unen, Sheriff, Meadows, Ashby, Messis, Johnson, Ekers, Castree, Sverns, Dafter,McArthur are all playing

Conyers played in last weeks game and has played 7 games
Roy hasn’t played since round 5
Moreland hasn’t played since round 5
 
What are peoples thoughts on the salary cap.

Is it there to create a supposed level playing field.

Or

Is it there to stop rogue club admin from basically destroying the club. In other words protecting the clubs from themselves.

My grapevine tells me all are back before finals
 
Bored reading all the dribble about our bottom division when the quality is at the level it is. Ultimately it’s about sustainability so let’s see who’s around and who’s still competitive in the next 3 yrs.

Broadford , Pakenham & Narre Warren have given intention to leave notice to league apparently.
Where to for Broadford? and Pakenham?

What leagues are around there that they could potentially go in?
Northern D3, Riddell, Heathcote?
They have tried in the last 2 before haven’t they?
Seem like a yo-yo moving from league to league.
Where does this leave the likes of Alexandra? Possibly Yea (probably will never come back though)?

Once Narre leaves Premier league looks far more inviting.

The entire absorption of those teams has been a complete disaster it’s unfathomable anyone who had a hand in it is anywhere near a football league again.

Two divisions will send Hallam scurrying back to the Southern - Hallam to Alex and return is such a lure for prospective recruits.
