This week the Swamprats, who are coming off a close loss against the dragons, will be hosting the roys. They sit just outside the top 8 by .91 percent so a win this week should see them leapfrog back into the top 8.
After a relatively succesful campaign last season, the Roys are showing no signs of slowing down. Starting the season with a healthy 3-2 record. Their low percentage would be slightly concerning, but as long as they keep winning, it shouldnt be a concern. They got beaten comfortably by the Las Vegas Bears last week and another loss could see them slip out of the top 8

At the conclusion of this game, opposing captains Millky95 and fitzroybowiedog will each select a player from the opposing team who best emodied the principles of fun, friendship and fair play during the week. They will both be awarded Fatty Lumpkin medals.
A pioneer of the SFA, Fatty played 182 games over 12 seasons with the Roys and was a member of the S4 premiership team. Fatty captained the Roys, led it's goalkicking and was an all round champion Roy. He swapped the Maroon and Gorilla for the Swampies where he also won All-SFA selection in S9. Fatty was a staple player for the Roys, prolific, humourous and easy to befriend. He swapped back to the Roys, and eventually retired in Season 16.
Players to watch
When it comes to the Swamprats there is no need to look any further than reigning Mobbs Medalist Ant Bear. But if you do, then you'll see bit part players like Millky95 and Golumless have also been getting their fair share of the pill. Reigning ALF medal winner Gray Day is also looking to go back to back and is averaging 4.4 goals a game.
The Roys lost a couple of big names last season in Willo_ and Loonerty but this hasnt affected them on field. Fred will again contend for the ALF alongside gray day, whilst Mooch and Klim have flourished in the midfield.
Crumpets tip
Both sides have had their issues this year, but both will still end up figuring in the final 8 at the end of the season. This looks to be a battle of the Key Forwards in my opinion. Im expecting Gray day and Fred each kick a huge bag and the losing side to still score 100 points.
