Where they finished: The Bears won their last 2 games to secure sixth spot leading into the finals. They then proceeded to go on a wrecking ball run through the finals, knocking out the Dragons, the Gumbies and the Demons in succession to reach the Grand Final;, where they dominated the first term but were over-run by the Swamprats to finish as Runners-up. The Hawks collapsed in a heap, losing their last 3 matches of S27 to fall out of finals contention by less than a game, and finished 9th.
Who’s New: The Bears underwent generational change with a new skipper in Cadaver, and had an active off-season, bringing in Uncle_Leo from the Gumbies and MKMatty from the Wonders, as well as re-activating caloschwaby and signing rookies Hawks1994, kelpie_X, Rioli8217 and Yatmax. Meanwhile, the Hawks selected Agechamp and TY24 in the Rookie class, and picked up SunshineTiger from the Royals and the returning Le Grille
