I only knew Dean for the last couple of years through our time on here, one thing I can tell you
I'm a better person from knowing him both during his health battles and since his passing


He provided so many laughs but more importantly was so helpful to others not just to those in SFA but
all over Big Footy



Mount Buller Demons LG will be implement the following changes to our Club to honour Dean



** His playing number 25 will be retired from Mount Buller **


** As mentioned above Dean won 4 Club Awards during his career at MBD which it is a
huge honour and privilege to share with you all our Rookie of the Year Award will be renamed **

** The SFA Charity Game for S33 will be supporting brain cancer research, a big thank you goes

It's not my place to talk about it, but after his diagnosis he received his life insurance payout, and was able to leave his job, and spend all of his time with his new wife. It's not really any consolation, but he got spend time with those he loved at the end.


And he was a great poster!
