It's a new season in the Sweet Football Association with plenty of exciting stories to be told in the 36th edition of this great competition. With new personas, new rivalries, new stars to emerge.
But before we get to all the shiny new toys that can be played with. Let's take a look at the season just gone for these two teams...
S35 Recap - Dragons FFC
The Dragons FFC improved to make finals after T2B_ led them to their first ever wooden spoon the previous season, a feat getting himself inducted into the Hall of Infamy. However, they lost the elimination final to eventual premiers the Ophidian Old Boys after an episode where there was a hoax of a merger suggested to form the Basilisks.
S35 Recap - Gold City Royals
The Royals had a fantastic home and away season and it was all looking good to repeat the feat of the famous Season 30 Royals premiership after a qualifying final win, but fell short in the prelim. Cadsky returned to the club he first joined as a rookie and let's say 'strongly advocated' for rookie Membling's case for the EKA in the aftermath of Mobbs Night.
The Off-Season - Dragons FFC
Greenery joins as co-captain of the Dragons while they add an exciting bunch of rookies in King Tenz, big_icky and Drizzy, losing nobody other than paraaaa in what is a strong offseason for the Dragons.
The Off-Season - Gold City Royals
caesar88 star prospect joins the Royals while a big signing in Brenton Davy crosses over from the Wonders. Royals also brought back projectv to the SFA while clearing a number of inactive legends in Paddles_ and Easty.
