Would you believe it Wazzas, we've come to the final Know Your Opponents for season 36! We've put together quite the playlist over the journey, but there's one spot left to fill and that's for this week's visitors - The Ophidian Old Boys.

There's quite a few options in terms of where to find a song that describes the newest Sweet franchise. There's a metal band called Ophidian, which I'm sure Purple7x08_24 is all over. Their captain released a song recently, but that sounds like two cats f*cking and nobody wants that in their ears. There's plenty of songs about snakes from acts as diverse as Underworld, Alice Cooper, AC/DC, Papa Roach, Iggy Pop, John Fogerty, The Doors, blink-182, PJ Harvey, the Doobie Brothers, John Lee Hooker and Duran Duran. But we'll let those slide.

The OOFs have made mistakes this season and acts like Men At Work, Etta James, Bryan Adams, Uudo Sepp, Gracie Abrams, Sheryl Crow, The Bravery & New Order have penned songs about that. There's also songs and artists that have been banned - Rage Against The Machine, 2 Live Crew, the Sex Pistols, NWA, Massive Attack, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Queen, Madonna, Billie Holiday, ABBA, The Beatles and Olivia Newton-John in leotards among others have suffered this fate.

But then I remembered that the lead singer of arguably the biggest band of the past 40 years is an Old Boy. That band is of course U2 who, in a manner similar to the birth of the Old Boys franchise, released an album in 2014 called Songs of Innocence by just dumping it into 500 million iTunes accounts whether they wanted it or not. There was quite a bit of backlash by many who said it "devalued music", but the new release eventually prevailed. So did the album.

Anyhoo, time to give you a song. The lead single from that album is called The Miracle (Of Joey Ramone), which is appropriate given the miraculous success that the Old Boys was given in their sophomore appearance.
