Actually! I’ll go first. Can’t beat Raiders of the lost Arc. Followed but Temple of doom but then the rest kind of fall off for me.

After 6 consecutive finals appearance S29 thru S34, the Roys underperformed in S35, finishing outside the 8. Last season we looked to have recovered before a late-season fadeout saw us drop the last 3 games and miss the finals by a single spot.

Our primary goal this season was to turn that disappointment around and entrench ourselves fairly into the playoffs again in Season 37.

And thanks to the hard work and application of the following goshdarned stars of the game, here we are in a Qualifying Final v the bradbury ladder leaders Gold City Royals.

I don't usually do speechy stuff, but I had to rejig an old GameDay video to pull out an old Round reference and make a template so I could throw in whatever round reference I wanted (like today's match). This took about 45 minutes so at that point I thought I might as well wax lyrical and talk some shit at the same time. Before I know it I've even gone to SweetFA+ and grabbed finals appearance history last x seasons.

I think it says more about my lack of a life than anything else.

I did use a ruler. Unfortunately I only have a 15cm half a ruler and had to like thumb and repeat and eyeball it.
