Official Match Thread Season 37 - Round 5 - Gumbies FFC v Ophidian Old Boys at The House of Gumby

The Ophidian Old Boys have gone from Premiers, to Spoon, to top of the table after four rounds. This week they travel to the House of Gumby where last seasons Premiers seem to still be dealing with a hangover. The Old Boys will be looking to make it three in a row against the Gumbies, but fans shouldn't expect a high scoring game with this pair.

Stingy defences are what both clubs are built on, neither team has allowed an opponent to score 100 points so far this season. Will we see a low scoring dour game or will one team break the shackles and put the other to the sword?

Will Harvey Manfrenjensenden kick a bag?
Will cats_09 give the Gumbies mids first use?

The answers to these and other questions I couldn't think of will be found on Sunday

My bar, The Claisebrook is open. Not great for wines but plenty of great spirits and beers (and some very dashing bar staff too, an example pictured below).

On the bench is a bottle of Jack, in the cupboard is a bottle of St Remy’s, Angostura Bitters, Baileys and then a few gin options including Bombay Saphire & Noose Gin. Then there’s likely bottles & cans of CC & Dry elsewhere as they always seem to be around

So bugger the bar at this time of night & the prices they charge - taking the cheap option
