Friend of my Dad's from time immemorial ran a auto body shop in Highland Park (section of Los Angeles). He collected cars, and did not like banks.

One weekend, we went to a swap meet with him. He took along a briefcase with US$50,000 cash.

I never saw so much money in my life, then to now.

over my time in business 3 or 4 clients have come in with bags of cash that their parents had hidden around the house.

One I remember, the dad was dying and the day before he died he gave his daughter a map of where the money was buried in the backyard. Told her there is 12 coffee jars full in 4 spots. Make sure you find all 12.
Came in with about $80K cash mostly in $20 bills

They did some great songs for sure. Very underrated band outside of Australia and New Zealand i think.
