Die Hard isn't a Christmas movie. It's a fantastic movie but it's a movie that happens to be set at Christmas rather than a Christmas Movie in and of itself
Plot being Keira Knightley, yeah?
It's really only the Colin storyline that sucks. Even the Alan Rickman/Emma Thompson storyline as heartbreaking and honestly maddening as it is isn't terrible

What a ****ing dumb argument. "It's set at Christmas, it has Christmas music and themes throughout, but because it wasn't released at Christmas it's not a Christmas movie". Yeah ok..
It's really all of Love Actually that sucks. Women are treated terribly throughout the movie. It's ridiculously mysoginistic.

It's an action movie that happens to be set at Christmas. I love it, I love watching it but it's not one. Even Bruce Willis thinks that it isn't.
There isn't an air of forgiveness, there's no overarching Christmas theme, the only links are the fact that it happens to be set at Christmas and the music at the Christmas party.
