Founding Story

The East Side Hawks started their journey in the Sweet Football Association in Season 06, captained and founded by F/D and Wally. The Hawks initially began playing their games based out of Capetown Wanderers (later known as the Golden Throne) but has also spent time with Waverley Park and The Eyrie as their home grounds. The Hawks rebranded shortly to the Phoenix in season 32.

Rfctigerarmy created the Fighting Furies prior to season 03 as a dedicated team for the Richmond forum and captained the struggling through their first season to a wooden spoon season. The Furies inaugural training and playing base was ‘Tiger Island’ (now known as The Eyrie) but later relocated to Punt Road Oval or more commonly known as rfctigerarmy's Hippodrome. Flog Oval has also been used in pre-season matches.
