Official Match Thread Season 38 Round 17: Gumbies FFC vs Roys FFC @ The House of Gumby

The penultimate round of the season is here and there is still so much to play for. Gumbies faltered last week against the Bombers, but are still entrenched in the top 8 with a good shot at top 4 if they win their last 2 games. Roys had a good win last week against the Royals, putting them just 2 points behind 8th spot on the ladder. They will need to keep this winning form going if they want to play finals in 2 weeks time.

Key to the Win: Midfield

The Roys midfield tackling machines of fitzroybowiedog (93 tackles to date) and royboy2 (78 tackles to date) have run rampant this season. Gumbies will need to do everything they can to stop the tackling duo from dominating the centre square bounces.
