I am quite under the weather this morning.

It's an odd turn of phrase. A quick Google uncovers.

The phrase “under the weather”originated in the early 1800s and was initially used by sailors. When a sailor was feeling seasick or unwell, they would often go below deck to escape the elements and recover, quite literally putting themselves “under the weather” on the deck above.​

Hey manangatang Headless I’ve just found a thread on reddit where people are discussing how eerie Super Mario 64 feels. This has never crossed my mind playing the game before, and while I can kind of see merit to some of the criticism (the eel star, Wet Dry World in general, the noxious caves and the respawn screen when you lose all your lives) it never occurred to me.

Banjo Kazooie always left me feeling WAY more unsettled.

Thoughts?

Wet Dry World is 100% this. There are some long, long YouTube videos on this. It's wonderful content!

To me Wet Dry World is not nearly as creepy as Clanker’s Cavern, Rusty Bucket Bay or Mad Monster Mansion. In fact, the only friendly feeling level in that game is Click Clock Wood imo.

I do understand the uneasiness with the whole abandoned town and the random skybox but the level itself still feels colourful and cheerful enough.

It's a bit of a throwback to Season 15, I used to do it before it became so mainstream.

Duggs was quite an active poster back then, one of the most active in fact. On average, 8 of his 10 posts were about ShaunDuggan

Headless I also cannot in the slightest get into Super Mario Sunshine. Am I wrong in thinking the game flat out sucks, or do I need to be more patient?
