A man walks into a bar and orders a 21-year-old whiskey.

He takes a sip and then spits it out.

The bartender serves him, and the man spits it out again.

The Ekka starts today and for those that know what that is will understand or possibly not… my friggin excitement!

I have planned out MY day for Sunday to the bloody minute lol….which livestock we will be seeing and when, the fashion parade, which shows we will be watching and all the cake and fruit and vege displays that I want to see this year before my child empties my bank account in show bags, ice creams, Dagwood dogs, balloons and toys and rides and games!

And ofc finishing off with the fireworks and the monster trucks!!

was a great day for the family.

Rides were never as good as i liked. but the wine tasting and cheese tasting pavillions were always worth it

I start at the animals first always…. The bulls, cows, horses, sheep, goats and the poultry!

We daughter and I always have a comp to find the ugliest turkey or rooster… it’s a hoot lol

And the strawberry ice creams are so good but the Ekka is just so exy!

But I love walking through that area where they have the tasting of things, or free shit to try!

The rides I’m wary of hey but will go on one spinning ride to appease my child but that’s it…. I get the worst motion sickness
