Hi Dragons and Bears,

I was advised overnight that the Bears have found cause to appeal the simulation of their games with the Dragons due to their changes (Senor M out for Tommycash) being missed by the simmer and the wrong lineup played. As per the rules this is eligible for a re-sim. Both team captains have been advised within the committee as well as the simmer who will present a complete sim asap. I understand that this is of a major annoyance for both clubs, in particular the Dragons and I am sure the simmer regrets their error.

We will have a rematch posted as soon as possible.

Genuinely feel for you T2B_ , Strigoi , DragoDelph and co. - to have to resim after that result.
If this happened against a couple of other teams I’d be feeling smug right now but this game has huge implications for the ladder and you guys are a good bunch.

Bring on the rematch. Resims are rare so I hope we can all enjoy the theatre of it and move on.

For the fans’ sake, let’s hope it’s a closer game than the original, no matter what the result , and nothing like the infamous 2010 AFL GF rematch!

Looking forward to Tommycash ‘s first game for the season too. He’ll be fresher than the rest of us but less drunk on Whiskey…
