Great toss to win and the pitch is meant to crack up. Finally Australia gets some luck and we take full advantage of it. SA's bowling attack is average. Morkel is as bad a bowler as test cricket's seen.

All I can say is thank God we chose to bat or we would be looking at Nassar Hussein take 2.

Road ... or average bowling? Did not look like an Australian style road from the footage I saw this morning...admittedly it was only on teh news so can be misleading I know

Seems to be a lot of overpitching and wide deliveries. Great that we are taking advantage, also great we are batting first again, good stuff Punter :thumbsu:

I like the fact the Hughes has a crack, but isn't that what he did in the first innings of the first test and everyone wanted him strung up from a tree. How fickle we can be ;)

Hughes showing some incredible maturity atm, anyone looking for a live stream
took me a while, just keep trying different servers.

Well Steyn and Kallis not swinging it means there isn't much swing on offer atm. Certainly some rubbish bowling is why we are scoring so quick but doesn't look to be much in it for the bowlers.

Thanks mate, I'm only on radio and Cricinfo, no Fox or streaming for me so I don't have any pictures to form my own judgements.

That bringeth the century of runneth up for Australia couresty of the noble knave Sir Simon of Kattich

A great hour and 45mins to start the day, with the loss of no wickets!
Keep it up boys!
