TBH this is the first draft where I'm not really concerned with who we get considering we have already added Duke and Dal and that there aint a great deal to get excited about at 30 and 47. Given the dearth of talls the best of the smalls will be long gone by the time we get back into the draft. Here's hoping we can pull two picks outta the hat on Nov 21st. If either of these picks work out long term it'll be a bonus.

30 is still a solid pick in this draft. 47 not so much.

Every pick inside 30 that has been taken is feasible. I think JKH will be thee draft day but I'm not sure we'll still be targetting someone like him because of the Nahas pick up.
I'm sure if he's best available we will take him. He'll need 2-3 years to develop. I see Nahas as a short term depth option.

JKH and Garlett look like they could address long term needs. Beyond that I'm not too sure we will get anything that improves our list. Not that I'm any expert, but there just appears to be few players in that range who will be a step up on what we have.

With our current list, cant see a guy that size getting a game until boomer hangs up the boots (at a minimum). Having lost keys, kennedy, mabon, and Hamish, and Pedo last year....plus the injury status of Curran and Majak, and Drewies age, not to mention Narni's injury proneness, I'd prefer to see a kpp as top priority. We've just picked up NDS, McDonald, and Nahas, ....Apeness if he's available.

We need a project ruck and a key defender. Could be worth putting another KP on the rookie list.

Fact is, there just isn't much quality in this years draft with the talls. Both Apeness and Nankervis are in betweeners. Too short to be afl rucks (both 199cm) and both not effective enough to play forward.

Archie Smith would be the one I'd go for as a project ruck on the rookie list, 201cm basketball convert will have a similar development curve to Tom Nichols at the suns. Freakish athlete, but very raw.

KP's. Sully, Jake klodaljashnij, Fraser Fort would be my picks.

Allir Allir would be a good long term rookie option
