So despite the fact that your wife knows very little about the game (your words) she could tell that the umpires were cheating? Add to that Essendon received something like 2 or 3 free kicks in the second half that during the third quarter the umps were cheating?

he was a tool long before the ump did that. my fav bit in Fridays game was when after about his only touch in a hotly contested 4th quarter the pretty boy stood there in his usual disbelief after yet another mark/free/whatever was denied him? Meanwhile while he was occupied in his whining and rasing his hands to the ump the ball was being swept up the other end where the match would be decided. Great captain's effort?

Shouldn't votes be awarded for the whole game..not the last 10 minutes.
Perhaps Bolton's first 3 quarters at CHF would have been of some note as well..made King look ****weak

Bolton is symptomatic of what is wrong with the Bombers. The next generarion aren't near as good as the last
And Collingwood next generation is miles better than their last, yet you are still only a 50-50 team like us. Goes to show the difference in success between the two clubs over the last 20 years.
Of course we're not as good as the last generation. You can't expect us to go 24-1 again. We'll come good again, though - we always do. It is our culture.

I reckon Barnard could almost be classified as dead wood now. Thirty years old, and doesn't do much.
He'll crash through a pack puffing his cheeks out, and we will all say. "Wow, he's so tough", but he's just about had it, I reckon. De-list Henneman too.
Yep. No point doing a "McAlister" and holding onto Henneman year after year, delaying the inevitable. Just de-list him and get it over with.
Maybe we can convince West Coast that Barnard is a gun, and he can go home to Perth in exchange for Judd.

Heh. Both of them for him.
One of the more enjoyable aspects of Friday night was not only did we get a tight, come from behind victory, but we still had enough time at the end to wave off the hords of Bombers "faithful" who were all storming out of the stadium well before the final siren in disgust. Geez they turned on their own mob.
