With Endeavour Hills running their 3rd night of preseason tonight. Doveton starting tonight and Hallam up and running?
Whats happening with the other clubs?
Caulfield and Ashwood dropping down and the inclusion of Hallam should make this year quite interesting.

Rumour has it a mass exodous at Dandenong. Any truth??

Who's coaching who this year?
Endeavour Hills has Matt Ashenden and Mick Roberts co coaching again
Lyndale's got Glen Krepp, I believe?? someone confirm this?
Doveton's Paul Davis goes around again.

Glen Krepp is senior coach of Lyndale in 2012, Modra has gone back to Heatherton to take on the Reserves role.
Training begins for our boys next Wednesday night.

I have heard totally different about the redlegs this year, they have a new coach who has been involved at dingley and springvale win a flag with dingley he also has good people and players behind him and will take the club only forward. I think the redlegs will be more than competitive, I think the comp will improve this year and the flag will be anyone’s to win. Good luck to everyone in the preseason and bring on round one

Is there new coach Sessler?

Hallam apparently are throwing some money around and have picked up some very good players, according to rumours.

Doveton Eagles also throwing around money to lure back some quality past players.

Both clubs shelling out big money if you listen to the hype!

I've heard the same about Endeavour Hills throwing money around, using the Hawthorn recruiting method of approaching anyone that played well against them.

I think the exodus at Dandy might be attributed to Allen departing as coach, and the half dozen players that came to the club with him following him back out the door. I've heard a whisper that Brendan is not quite as retired as everyone is led to believe, and might pop up at a rival div 3 club.

Wineberg and Atkin are both good gets for Ashwood and Dandy respectively. Having played against both, I believe they have the knowledge and skill set to get the most out of their new sides. I'm not so sure how Kreppy will go, as I don't see him as being team oriented enough to lead a side of his own, or atleast thats how he was as a player.

Hallam should have a pretty good top end of their list with the Fredericks boys et al, but might struggle a bit for depth through the tail end of their senior side.

Word around the traps is that Wilkin has tired of being a perennial bridesmaid and will look elsewhere in 2012.

Also, the finances of a struggling club should be a fair bit healthier in following years with the departure of a particular executive committee member.

Duno bout End Hills throwing money around. Don't think we've approached anyone that played against us!

I doubt this very much.. as far as we are aware he is going again next year as Senior Playing Assistant Coach..

In terms of how we (Mount) are shaping..
we start pre-season next week.. a few players have said they are bringing down mates who have played some pretty high standard of footy.. but I guess we'll wait and see how the pre-season unfolds.

Doveton Eagles have had a few players come back and have trained at pre season but no one is getting paid as the club has no money for what ive been told.

I also went to the Hallam Football Club information night the other month and on the presentation they said no players will be paid and all players have to bring in a $150 sponsor each.

If Dragons can win flag not paying $$$, no reason why Hallam and Doveton can't

Good luck Mount, best of luck (but not too much!)

Old Kangas return!

David Sheehan & Mimo are back at Moorabbin word has it! Great work Kangas!

The cheque book must be open again around $8k for Sheehan as Senior Assistant Coach and who knows with $$$$ Mimo?

Anyone know why on the PDF of the Fixture there's an asterisk beside Doveton Eagles saying 'under review'?

Apparently the club president was to sit down with the league and hasn't yet so until he has the club will stay under review. Nothing serious just a matter of a talk between the club n the league.

So your season is under review because your president has failed to meet with the league. Has any other clubs president's had to sit down with the league, or is this because of the trouble constantly caused?

Dingley were warned by Moorabbin President that Mimo would let us down. How true, now the same President has welcomed Mimo back to where he belongs, 3rd Div.

What are you thinking Frenchy? This hanger on doesnt train, doesnt attend functions and is the worst example for kids around a club. He wont have to ask twice for a clearance!

Wilkin staying at Mt, he doesnt chase money like others. the club may not have won a flag but thats not due to wilkin, last time i checked there was 17 other players on the field. You guys bag him like his a shit bloke, maybe get to know him and things mite be different but then again every one hates a guy that has won 3 league bnfs in 4 years
