Sfnl just announced the Div 1 gf will be played on the Sunday due to the AFLW.

They had issues last year and are kicked off their home ground again.

Not sure what their contract with Moorabbin is but this is another embarrassment for the ceo

Trevor Barker Oval , Sandringham should be the SFNL grand final venue year in year out. Crowd on top of the ground, great deck , great viewing ground… vafa seem to have the mortgage on it though.

Football this weekend - Looking forward to heading to the village tomorrow and expecting a response from dingley on the home deck, the word from a few close followers of the dingos said last weeks performance after quarter time was the poorest they had seen in some time no energy, wanting to much outside ball, didn’t have a thirst to dig in. no bigger test than to respond on home soil against the top side, wouldn’t mind the social rooms hurrying up in completion too.

Spring Dists v Vampires another big game- interested to see how that unfolds.

Obviously you didn’t watch the Div 1 Grand Final last year at Moorabbin, big crowd and exciting atmosphere , with the Danny Frawley Ctr the Grandstand offers great seating and viewing , Sandy Beach Rd oval on a cold, windy day is hard work with only limited seats in the 1950s stand

Josh caddy playing for colts Sunday plus bellchambers might be a cricket score against mordy!

Josh Caddy 5 points. I’d like someone to run me through how they got to this figure. Played AFL 2 seasons ago

Would’ve been a six pointer last year.

Loses a point this year due to one year of service.
Only applies if Port Colts was his only club this year, not transfer out and transfer back in , player point should stay @6 is my understanding… but happy to be proven wrong.

Caddy playing season out ?

Dingley have been working the phones today , watch this space for a couple late signings, spending big as is. left at 3 quarter time yesterday, a fair way off it and have Springvale next week. Had a crack early but ball use average, lack polish, speed and just too many accumulators who do not a whole heap of damage with ball in hand. a fair way off. Chelt have 1 hand on the cup

Who’s on the market this late in the season that they could sign up?

Chelt to go undefeated
Too even across the ground with too many gun players and plenty of depth

Dingley have just signed hellier ex Coll vfl captain and garside x 2 so doing their best to challenge Cheltenham

St Paul’s have added some depth players who may be very valuable as their reserves were very average
Seem like a tight unit and are the most consistent and successful division one team over last 30 years
Springvale- Well coached, well drilled but lacking X factor to win more than one final
If wetering returns and has a day out that is there hope
They have done very well since coming from division 3 not that long ago

East Brighton got back semell yesterday with head and Harris last 2 weeks
Also saw rennex foster and Backman from their senior premiership side from last year played in the reserves yesterday
Their captain and dual bnf winner from who missed 2nd half of the season with knee injury was also named in the reserves
Squad good enough to challenge most teams but have lapses in games hurt them coming up a division
If they sneak in the top 5 they could do some damage but lack the consistency to go to far
Exciting to watch at their best but their worst is still second division stuff
Port colts- Probably make top 5 with experience but won’t challenge top 3
Cranbourne- Have been a great team last 2 years, losing some of their superstars has brought them back but still have the winning belief to have the confidence to still beat anyone
Only early but
Good bye Chelsea and Mordi
Narre to make top 5 and murrumbeena be bottom 3 but paying top 5

4x Euroa boys ex St.Bedes

Money shortage was the rumour, got the tap on the shoulder refused tot take a cut and put some messages in

Barnes (ex st.bedes skip ) decorated VAFA career but was just going at Euroa, Dingley signed him first of the lot - should of kept the powder dry and signed hellier and the Garside boys first who would of suited their line up a lot better and got Barnes abit cheaper who is a dime a dozen in this comp. Tough Lean short sized mid, iffy by foot, son of Vafa legend Russell.

Caddy was never transferred out of colts.
Released on a permit .

Not sure Chelt are certainties. Weather can play a big role , along with injuries.

St.pauls are looking good, couple more recruits to come this week and internally are very confident.
Positive reports on the new coach
