Hear, hear Kanga!! Well said.

As clubs struggle to attract players and grow lists, unfortunately it seems we have started to accept some of the behaviour from a few who would normally be shown the door at any Div 1/2 team.

What happened on the weekend is clearly unacceptable. Hopefully the league deals with it appropriately.

If your the equivalent of a SFNL D4 player you may as well go play at a VAFA or YV club.

Far less odds on you ending up in hospital from a coward punch in those leagues.

It's not even coward punches, it's blokes using playing footy as an excuse to hurt others. Late to pack hits, excessively rough to hurt, lifting elbows in hip n shoulders. Should sfnl pass on any punch to police for assault charges is that where it needs to go to start weeding out the bad eggs?

Interesting to read a Kangaroos player received a 5 match penalty from the tribunal two weeks ago and the following week their match gets called off at 3/4 time… maybe it is a cultural issue down at Moorabbin?

That’s what happened with Frankston in 2022. Too good for every team but failed to win when it mattered the most.

to be fair though Frankston came up against a lyndhurst side that had lost the last 3 finals and just werent losing that game on the day. Theres no one else in div 4 that has that hunger, disappointment and drive.

Haven’t seen Lyndhurst play but will they make the top 4?
