I have said for years this comp is fun by f***ing amatuers, this is a disgrace

Could not have cocked up this decision more if they tried too, has the AFL been asked by the SFL to run the comp

Wow cannot believe that lol. Teams in div4 obviously not good enough to play against div3, otherwise they would have surely just combined them? 6 teams is laughable.

Wouldn't it be better now to just put Heatherton back in Div 3 and have a Bye in Div 2 (Still 9 teams), leave South Yarra up in Div 3, and force Sandown to play in Div 4 (even with no Res, like Cerberus.)

This just seems like a patch job on another patch job because of the whole Mount move and now exit.

The only thing that's changed is Mount's left and Sandown are short of players (But they will turn it around like most seasons)

Never like to see clubs fold at all but we (SY) lost 20/22 senior players after the 2011 season, battled through with 1 win in 2012 and when we should have been demoted to d3, BR was forced to do down for not paying their bills and we stayed up again for a winless season and battled hard again in 2018...give us shit about our facilities all you want but you can't knock our ability (especially Hilly) to grind year after year with next to nothing and never, ever asking to be demoted at anytime

Can we now knock your ability to grind year after year and never asking to be demoted?

Not many clubs in the league history have sooked up to go down a division so your club now has that enigma.

Had a look at ehills intra club match yesterday. Seems like a lot of young kids playing, look to have lost some regulars from last year.
Look extremely fit but may struggle to keep up with senior bodies from sides like Hampton park and Clayton.

I'n not sure if we asked and/or league asked as they definitely didn't want a bye in d3 without one in d4...that being said this could even up when we were supposed to go down but didn't and also the fact that we play 6 teams of football every weekend without a forfeit in sight so i'll stand by all of that

confirmed on the league site the club approached the league so the grinding out statement can now be dismissed. All good, all the best in DIV 4 after asking to go down.

We in fact gave them several scenarios to toss up, and communicated with other clubs about those options as well who fully agreed with us so it was THEIR (SFL) choice in the end

And we'll still grind regardless of where we play, considering we don't even have a ground and all

Ashwood played Forest Hill Friday night and did alright. Would have been close score wise. Pretty good signs.

Hampton Park Played Doveton Eagles on Saturday and lost by 3 points.
Watched this one. Was a couple of goals I thought. Scoreboard $hit itself so the final numbers were not right.
Doveton played pretty much a reserves side. I’m sure HP had a few out as well.

Not a bad effort by HP. Wasn’t a great game to watch. Windy and hot.

E/Hills would hate the fact Dipper would know them inside & out!
Average statement really

Well that’s a first. A poster has replied to HIMSELF to give him a ‘clip’ telling himself he posted an Average Statement. Obviously mumbles to himself when walking to the train station. Whoop whoop!!
