Is the SFNL going to allow a certain club's ressies to run out with 13 players again this week, and then end up with 10 fit players losing by a bucketful and handing out % ? Asking for a friend who may not be bothered to turn up against them.

yeah It's a shit predicament to be in. Oppo club should be trying to find players to help out as they will get the W anyway. 18 vs 14 or less is shit and not worth turning up for on a saturday arvo, no matter how much footy has been missed due to covid

Tips;

Some closer games this week

Sth Yarra v Sth M Sth M 5 gls
Black Rock v Dove BR by heaps 150+pts
Endeavor v Clayton Clayton by 2 gls
Ashwood v Narre Ashwood by 2 gls

Think I did mention pre-season that Black Rock will be the real deal. Still the team to beat for sure.

Endeavour Hills will show their premiership credentials tomorrow with an easy win over Clayton.

First 2 x round results for Clayton are not worth a pinch of salt and the soft start will bite them on the ass tomorrow.

Ashwood by plenty over the Saints too.

Can confirm that quite a few of the Narre lads are a bit on the portly side, but can play.

No.12 is a big unit but had it on a string in the first half and then went to FF and nearly won them the game in the 3rd quarter.

Been a couple of years since I saw the Jets play a home game, and had to venture a bit further up Beach Rd and into Brighton. Haven't seen that old oval for 20 years and while the facilities have improved, the surface is still frightful.
Kudos to the Eagles. Have read numbers were scarce but they were able to have two eighteens on the field and did see a bench for the twos. The numbers and endeavour were certainly there, even if the overall talent and depth was not. They may not win (m)any, however if they stick together and keep having a go, they'll make a few teams earn their wins and will hopefully improve the depth and future of the club after some reportedly rocky times.
Fair to say the Jets were the better side on the day, and were 100+ up at half time, but while they may point to the rain coming in the second half as for why the scoring fell off, I think they don't play William Street (or wet weather football) very well and left 10+ goals out there today. That won't hurt against the Eagles and clearly didn't against South Yarra, but I think they're in the premiership hunt if they take full advantage of their home patch.

Ashwood v #FATNARRE game was up the road so thought I'd have a sticky beak.
Narre not as fat as made out to be but have a few big uns. Big bad bustling Buzz was off most of the game, unsure why. But deary me, Purcell is a big old bitch. Loves a sneaky shove in the back, don't think he got pinged once and cardamone was wearing his wife's headband and footy boots by the looks of it. 2nd quarter cost Narre, thought they probably deserved the win but alas, fell short. Look good though! Ashwood will be up there too. Maybe not pointy end. All depends on how many cheapies Purcell can get when it counts.

Yingyang- man it’s Sunday- get outside and enjoy some fresh air and sun. Don’t spend too much time being salty and bitter.

So what’s the go with Clayton at the moment. Watched them against Sth Yarra and I’m sure they are a lot better than what they showed. Must have a huge amount of injuries from what I can tell. Didn’t recognise quite a few of their players compared to previous seasons.

Hats off to narre south , I s*#t the bed as usual and was getting down there waaay to early , thought I was gonna be standing on my own like some creep loitering in the bushes instead I was standing alone like a creep in a decent crowd the joint was pumping all day right down to the end of the 1s , jets too good....handles has got a real 'handle' on that joint at the moment (pun intended) im clever like that
