2 points.

Firstly, those picks will all move back by the time they're used in the draft, so it's probably more like 12/13/21

Secondly, Richmond and Freo are positioned on 12/13 and 12/21 for Bolton currently...split the difference and Baker becomes worth ~17. Throw in a late pick like 51 (which would become Freo's 2nd pick after this) and you'd be looking around pick 30 in value.
Pick 51 is a nothing pick, doesnt hold any real value. If 11, 12 and 18 are on offer for Bolton and Baker, I would want a pick around 30 back to even consider it.

Why would Richmond take 10,11,18 if

Richmond value Shai at 10,11
Fremantle value Baker Pick 10

Fremantle need to go get Essendon's Pick 9 to add to 10,11 to get both

Fremantle get Baker, Bolton
Richmond get 9,10,11
Essendon get 18 F1 Fremantle 30
If Baker agrees, Richmond will accept 10, 11 and 18 for both.

The problem atm is that Baker still wants to get to WC.

Interesting that Bolton's citing "personal reasons" behind his desire to break a contract and change clubs, but there is nowhere near the interest in these "personal issues" as Bailey Smiths where it is constantly cited as the reason his draft value has plummeted. Combined with an onfield drop off, it is a glaring Hogan like warning to Freo to stay away. A person paid millions to play football with friends, that needs a change, is probably not going to provide the positive drive needed.

If it’s 10, 11 and 18 it’s still way too much for both.
Values Bolton at 10 + 11 (waaaaay to high) and Baker at 18 (closer but probs upper limit)

I think a fair deal, that is still on the Tigers beneficial side, would be

10, 11, 18, 30
For
Baker, Bolton and 20

Great hand for Tigers and allows Freo to still take a pick in the first round meaning we’ll satisfy the AFL’s requirement for a first round pick every few years.
If we go hard for the Chad next year (assuming the AFL plan of allowing 2 years futures to be traded kicks in) we’ll likely need to give up first round picks in 2025, 26 and 27
No way we could do that without a first round pick this year.

That makes sense to me

And Walls would need to nail that pick

Bolton's personal reasons are that his family are in WA and he's having a kid, very wholesome.

Smith's personal reasons seem to be a bit more complex which consequently affect his value.

You're reading a bit too deeply into something that isn't there

I think trying to add Baker to this deal is pointless, he's going to end up at West Coast either way. Bolton will get done to Fremantle for 10+18.

I highly doubt we've officially offered up 10+11+18 for Bolton and Baker anyway, it just sounds like pure media drivel to get picks. Baker already nominated West Coast.

Yep could go badly pear shaped for the dockers. High risk/reward
