Bolton falls into the 1st category.

Depends on where he plays. Over the last 2-3 weeks he has played nearly the whole game in the forward 50 for reasons only known to Dimma. The fact that we've been spanked in the middle of the ground may point to an injury of late as he doesn't seem as dynamic s usual.

he is currently a nice player but nowhere near a Gun player

I dont see game changing explosive mid that kicks goals , I see more of an accumulator with nice skills but more outside than inside
Where players were picked is out the window after 4/5 years .

Probably not a nice thing to say but the KId just has to get more campaigner in him. Brayshaw now thats another story

I really hope you watched the game on the weekend. You have consistently over rated Bolton while underrating Cerra.

He has been playing with a bad calf for the majority of the year. We have to play him. A pretty sad state of affairs really

I’m not sure about the Freo game but the three weeks before that he has attend the most centre bounces at Richmond twice and second most on the other occasion so I wouldn’t say he has been stuck forward

Watching the game over the weekend he seemed to be a lot more forward. But he's either a mid who isn't getting touches, or he's a forward who isn't kicking goals.

Regardless of position he's in a really rough patch of form.

Kelly to me, had his chance. He said no, I would personally tell him to GAGF, IMO the bloke is a coward and we are nothing to him. It’s not romantic anymore, it’s purely transactional and I’d prefer to put our money into our pathetic defence.

Id argue we are one of the few that doesn’t really need him.

Shai Bolton is a small forward?

He attends the second most center bounces stoppages at Richmond.

He’s a goal kicking midfielder/forward who is a decent enough clearance player.

We could definitely have him. Is he a list need? No way.

Thomas and Stephenson would be classed the same type of player.

Stephenson and Bolton are very similar statistically and I think Thomas will be a better version than both of them.
