that 2020 draft class is so underwhelming, swans getting away with getting gulden at 32 and holmes at 20 and jamarra the real standouts, cats look genius with holmes and forcing the gulden bid, then picks 2 4 7 12 13 look to be heading in right direction now, jury out on a few others,of which phillips isnt even at that level

saints first pick at 26 is about to be delisted without playing a game

the covid draft,a disaster
Thilthorpe is good.

While the jury is still not fully in on the subject, Shannon Neale at the pick 33 after the Gulden bid got matched looks alright so far. 36th for goal kicking average this year, ahead of Logan McDonald who was a pick 4 in the same draft and has played over 3x the number of games.

yep looks very good, didnt even look that low,but yeah further enhances my point, that geelong draft team were brilliant that year

I thought allison was contracted?

As for the draft it was no doubt weaker than some but we got bruhn henry holmes (bold trade) and neale our of it so it cant have been that weak.

Ginni taken in the rookie draft that year too.

One of the strangest drafts in memory, but for obvious reasons.

Be shocked if he doesn't get a better offer. Tigers offer him a 2 year deal and I dunno, offer pick 40? Its not like they would care about that pick will have almost 10 before it by the looks. Richmond seem to make the most sense. They could use a tagger next year.

You'd have to think we'd take a high third rounder quite happily, if the most we can offer is 1 year on minimum cash.

Maybe that's enough for a 32-year-old Luke Parker or an on-the-fringe 30-year-old Jackson Macrae, if either want a good pay day to take on a leadership role for a few years?

Yeah Richmond makes sense, especially if both Graham and Baker leave. Gives us a defensive midfielder to play that loves a tackle.

You'd think if North are only offering a 1 year contract, a pick around 50 would make sense. We have 47.

I'm confident you don't offer a young player 12 months on minimal coin and expect him to stay.
And yes of course Will's trade value is very low. Makes sense I suppose.

You are being extremely generous
Free to good home with this kid , North have offered him 1 year at min chips only to extend his career to give him a chance to show something but would gladly let him leave for nothing similar to Richmond did with Butler

Pick #66

Sold. Now hurry up and sign him. There are a lot of people concerned that he may accept our offer.
