I'd trade him for your 4th rounder as we have a very promising 20year old ruck in Max Knobel also on our list. He would be a good to great back up ruck for WC. Unfortunately for us back up rucks obviously don't have high trade currency.

100 percent. Think St Kilda too fits that realm, as do Eagles and GWS even.

I’d guarantee he has better offers on the table then what Freo are giving. If he stays it will just be out of loyalty

Reidy averages more hitouts per game at WAFL level (46) than any afl ruckman does at afl level in 2024 with Obrien from Adelaide leading the hitouts per game at 43. Considering he's 24 and there is room for improvement he could develop into a very handy ruck option if he's given the chance to develop on an afl list.

Hopefully. It’s pretty clear we need a proper backup here for Max. Our list management strategy in the ruck is riding heavily on Max playing forever and never injured. We all hope it works but a plan b might be wise.

After Grundy didn’t work as a forward it felt like we were to proud to acknowledge we need another ruckman.
