Bolton is going to absolutely kill it in an environment where he feels refreshed and at a stronger team.
Even if you did pay that, I don't think you'd regret it for a second with the football he'd deliver for you over the next handful of years. He will dominate at Optus oval.

If he didn't nominate a club, it's either because he has doubts about if Freo can/will do what they need to in order to get the deal done, or because he's hoping to get to the Eagles, but realises that Freo are more likely to be able to do a deal and he'll settle for that.

If he wanted Freo, and was confident they would do enough to get him there, he'd nominate the club.

Also more likely he think Tigers list manager can be prick to deal with and may try to win trades and take over Dodoro's mantle

Did you even read the post you are replying to? Which was saying the same thing happened with Jackson not nominating Freo. But he was only ever coming to Freo. Just the same as Bolton.

We make finals without Bolton, we make top 4 this year without our spine players going down in the last month.

Finals are a guarantee with or without Bolton, he'd be a nice addition sure, but it's not going to make or break our season if guys like Pearce, Treacy and Darcy play all year. Top 4 is a different story, but as said before, we were top 4 with a month left with those guys.

Bolton's great, I'd love to have him, but if the deal doesn't suit us we don't have any reason to continue chasing him until next year when his price lowers.
