Having heard Roos talk about Atley during the year I'd think this would be spot on.
Roos has talked up Atley's potential a lot and he rarely does that when talking about north players.

Yep, he's normally either whinging about LT accidentally injuring Rohan or putting 18 month old potshots on JZ and Cunners for being "unfit".

But he's clearly got wood for Shaun Ats.

You can see why too - Dees aren't actually too bad off for KPD stocks. And Ats bursting out of the backline and through the MCG midfield.

We can't let it happen.

No, Ats not worth pick 2. But worth more than a second rounder for sure.

Hence the mail about you guys offering up and end of 1st round PP (which actually goes up a bit with both Adelaide and Essendon excluded from 1st round) and a player of the Blease variety making some sense at least.
