Yes you should. I'm sticking with mine to help the club and sport, and completely understand why some people will ask for a refund or cancel.

What a useless comment that means absolutely nothing.
Yes, but Tim Watson doesn't support Port Adelaide, so therefore has no real interest as to whether David Koch would or would not refund memberships. Tony Jones is a Collingwood supporter, and therefore is interested in whether Collingwood offer refunds to members.
I pay rouhly $120 for an inerstate membership that gives me access to 5 home gomes, I rarely attend any, get over to Melbourne once a year and it's often an away game given timing with other games and mates who i'm going with.
I pay the money to support the club. End of story, no refund needed here.
Your original comment really is ridiculous.
Every effort be every single person from PM down is geared towards preserving Australia's cultural and economic touchstones, so hopefully on the other side of this we can get back to where we were.
Whatever the situation is with clubs offering/not offering memberships and what eventually happens with clubs/the league the idea that we should self-sabotage things we enjoyed before coronavirus is really a stupid idea.
My opinion on refunds modified as the players dug their heels in, I objected to my "donation", going to support a group of well paid players (right now I need it more than they do). The fact that they give some ground has softened my opinion, but I am dirty that they are on 50% wages until 31 May whilst not playing.
I don't buy the guilt trip that I (and members like me) are obliged to keep the club afloat and the players get to squeeze every penny they can.
Won't be asking for a refund but I expect the club to come up with something for members that helped keep the club afloat. Maybe some thing like a 15% discount for say 5 years. I get 75% of membership back over 5 years and the club gets 5 years worth of membership from me. If just get a bill in December for my 2020/2021 membership, I will probably make the jump to a non-member,
Genuine question... how are finals (and potentially GF) tickets allocated?Consecutive years membership doesn't do anything at Essendon

Amateurish. Rookie error.Kochie would have given the same answer as Eddie , as he wouldn’t want a mass exodus on Port memberships wanting refunds , nor would he want to speak for the other 17 clubs , which is what TJ was trying to get Eddie to do.
Absolutely there is.there's no shame in asking for a refund.
It’s not anyone’s fault, but if a service has not been provided YOU RECEIVE A REFUND.
A club is not a charity, it’s a business.
Clubs shouldn’t be staying silent and just hoping no one asks.
Letters should be send out detailing the refund process, or stating members can use that money for 2021.

And this is exactly what people aren’t understanding. As usual these days it’s all “me, me, me”.Read a very sad comment by a Fitzroy supporter on Facebook today, puts things into perspective a bit...View attachment 851365
What people are failing to understand is that are clubs are not privately owned, clubs are owned by members. By purchasing a membership, you are in a way purchasing a stake in your club. It's not just a 'service', or a way to get tickets.
You literally become the club.

Support your club during a tough time you plebs.
If Collingwood fold then chances are most of the other clubs have too and there wouldn’t be much of a league left anyways. I’d take my chances on the more well off players taking a major pay cut this year to prolong their own careers also before we start talking about saving clubs through donationsRead a very sad comment by a Fitzroy supporter on Facebook today, puts things into perspective a bit...View attachment 851365
