And the claim about the volunteer work is crap anyway. Yes it started off as compulsory but he kept going past the required amount of time. Also accompanied Bruzzy to make visits to a Specialist School.

I certainly can’t match that. Not sure The Righteous Postman could either.

I can match Jordy with the special school.


But I was paid to do so and wouldn't have done it without being paid. I'm happy to do righteous things when paid enough.

Then we’ll be left with another long term contract and drawn out arbitration process… because De Goey and manager will explore their legal options. Or are people naive enough to think they won’t?

I mean Beams retired… the club was not in any way responsible for his issues and choices… and the club still had to pay him out.

Who here honestly thinks signing De Goey to a long term contract is going to end well?

I fully agree with that, his off season work ethic has definitely improved.

He is definitely a power player who can make things happen but there will always be the other Jordy hovering, waiting for his commitment to waver.

We definitely need what he can produce at his best but we need his best much more often.

Plenty of people were absolutely doing that. Poking some fun in retrospect is warranted, and those wanting to move on quickly are likely the worst offenders, and probably unhappy about getting called out for it.
