Wow, emotional stuff.

Footy is such a big part of people’s lives. Not only for AFL players, coaches and support staff but also for us fans.
It may only take up a small part for some or a big part for others but it can have a big impact.
I feel absolutely privileged to be able to say I was alive when Dale Morris was playing much like the oldies of today talk about past players. He obviously has a huge affect on everyone at the club and it’s heart warming to watch it unfold as it does in that clip.
We’re a very lucky bunch us bulldog fans.

It's not hard to see the impact that his strength, self-belief, honesty, passion, selflessness, work ethic and positivity would have on that young group of players. It's a rare thing to have all that (plus a great physique and a fair bit of footy talent) vested in the one bloke.

When we recognise the importance of developing the right sort of culture at the club, those personal qualities might end up being his greatest legacy of all.

After watching 75 years of Footscray/Western Bulldogs i have seen no braver player than Dale Morris. His influence will be sorely missed and one hopes he will find a place in our ongoing plans. Thank you Dale Morris.
Wow 75 years good on you . Huge rap if he is the bravest player you have seen :)

Moz-

My all time favourite.

Absolutely legendary bloke, so much time for the fans and a true gentleman.

His journey is everything any kid wanting to make it in the AFL or even in this world should aspire to. Persistance, Guts and Determination. None of this flakey it's not fair, poor woe me bullshit spouted by this generation of outright softcocks. Moz is a superstar.

Farewell Moz, I hope we still see you around the club in the years to come and I hope you attend the Social Club Christmas function this year for one last chance to say goodbye

I also hope the club retire the 38 - I don't think there has ever been a Bulldog more universally loved as Moz and this includes the late, great EJ.

Now lets win this thing

Suggest you watch his address to the boys/press conference and you'll understand why this a bad idea with any player but particularly Moz's 38.

Moz said he’s looking forward to seeing who inherits “the responsibility” for the number 38 jumper and maybe mentoring him.

Interesting to see in yesterday’s Herald-Sun footy poster of the Bulldogs 2019 team. Three premiership heroes, who all had claims on being BOG on that epic day, all three retired. Tom Boyd, Picko and Moz. Who played one game between them this year! And the season is still well and truly alive as we head into the finals with the next Bulldog breed.

Oh I've watched it, doesn't mean I can't think it

Sort of goes against the core essence of the man himself (selflessness, teaching, giving from one generation to the next) but each to their own I suppose.

Easily In my top 10 Dogs players in my 35 years as a member

Fav memory is bringing down Buddy with a broken back forcing a turnover which sealed our 2016 premiership

Day in day out gave 110%

Great man and great player

I have a hard time thinking of a player who is more representative of everything that our club stands for than Dale Morris.

A future senior coach. Northing is more certain. Im just glad that he will start that journey where he belongs.
