Owned oddhawk after the siren getting him to call for a re-sim.
Am in a strong position in the Pokemon game.
Got lynched.
And all that while not touching the ball a single time.

If it had come from anyone else other than Filthy, you might have been onto something there.

S18 into S19 the Swamprats weren't a dominant team that we are now. spookism had Noobz0r set up to become the next Seamprats captain but The Filth Wizard signed up a bunch of players to his team to form a "new world order" of qooty teams. It looked like in S18 the Rats would fold. But some decent recruiting in S19 and S20 made us one of if not the strongest side off the field in the league

Basically this:
At the time the Swamprats were probably in a worse off-field position than any of the 'inactive' teams going around right now, with something like 5 active posters and struggling to draw any recruits. spookism was captain and Noobz0r was the Swamprat's shining light, The Filth Wizard came in and poached him and for a little while it looked like the Rats really weren't going to survive. ClarkeM stepped in and helped recruit 2 rookies, one of whom is Millky95, from then on we've brought in decent rookies every offseason since and here we are.

Yeah, in reality it was you and Power Raid that kept the club afloat. Noobz at the time had a big reputation at the time and you guys were starting out which made the nwo thing a big deal. They talked a big game but really delivered little as their recruits turned out inactive, hence they failed.

Yes, me and Power Raid in the match threads, where it mattered. Posters are judged on their 'media threads' that's where 'good rep' comes from in this league. I disagree, it's at the coalface in the game threads where boys and girls get separated from the men and women

In my opinion, match threads are the main game as you're engaging directly with the opposition,you've made it once you establish a strong presence in those. Being able to write a good media thread would elevate you faster as you get more exposure to the league but it's not really something that you have to do to be a good poster. It's more of bonus and suited to posters who have already established themselves in the league.

Not the best result yesterday, especially as it was the Bears we lost too - almost as bad as the Warriors.
Ant Bear , Butler . miggs and Quadzilla were solid.
And a smattering of double goal scorers in Gray Day , Cloud_ , sportsmaniac89 and Power Raid
And Minties , you really need to get over your SM hate - we need that man on the pitch. Could of been the difference yesterday if not for #freekickbears
We will bounce back next week, cause we gotta!

I don't believe we need SM on the field. He's simply not a mature player at this stage and my LYLO hypoclaim is that his ill discipline would cost us more games. To change the game plan now would be BaM as it would go away from the game plan after only one loss. I'm not going to panic.
Also, I'm developing a strong scumread on the umpires and I will need to ask some serious questions to the umpiring department this week.
