Jeez! Pretty excited to be the Rising Star recipient and named (int) in the Team of the Week :D

You can cut the tension in here with a knife.
The only tension you'll find here is of a sexual nature

So apparently we're 5 weeks in.......

Oh Dear.jpg

Leave you guys to get more opportunities , ge named on a HFF........

Fast Facts

• Geelong Wolves' 6.5 (41) against East Side Hawks in Round Four was the Wolves' second lowest score on record

Not the result we were hoping for, but we never seem to go well in mud or rain. Probably a result of playing in pristine conditions at our home stadium half the time...

A few copped the sim's checker-board game this week. Millky95 led from behind again, and sportsmaniac89 returned to his back pocket roots, whilst Gray Day called it a day after booting his average because of mud in his jocks. Swallow some cement, man!

So, to the season stats
I'm tired and a little deaf so I'll just leave them here.

We have the Roys at home this week, and have confirmed that we will be playing for the Fatty Lumpkin Memorial Trophy. Fatty passed last year and was a Roys champion who played a season with the Swamprats in S9 when his club was in mothballs. Just a reminder, Millky95 and fitzroybowiedog will each be naming an opponent for the Fatty Lumpkin medals at the end of the game. These will be given to the poster who best demonstrates fun and fair play during the week.

Also, this will be Gray Day's 100th game for the club. Debuting in S15 as mister marto for the Southern Dragons, he became part of our renaissance the following season and, despite periods of inactivity (probably due to not being tagged...), and several metamorphoses into Marto_ and now Gray Day, he has remained loyal in the face of numerous poaching attempts.

Congratulations , mate. You've got your name on a cell now. Stay out of the red for the week...

Well that was another fun week off field. The bad taste left by the Wolves has almost been washed away now. Quadzilla gets Rat of the Week for brazenly calling out his man from the start, and then putting his mouth where his mouth is and running away with a comfortable and highly entertaining victory. A total of 14 posters from either team chipped in with 50 plus posts to make for a great example of competitive silliness, with the top end of our list all getting in on the fun again. Also, congratulations to Grav on the arrival of his daughter's new litter. Hopefully my experiments with new gene editing techniques will pay dividends for the next generation of Super Rats.

cammo6556 and Blaze Storm deserve personal thanks for their efforts, cammo in particular leaving the thinner skinned Port board denizens in a tizz. Let that be a lesson to you though cammo, and to everyone, in all your future exploits, particularly Port baiting. A little more patience and I might truly have been able to get away with absurding the **** out of the Mod nominations thread.

On field. I know we're all thinking it, but the time has come to discuss this openly. Despite calls for patience, the Rats have been rebuilding now for five seasons and have a list of such quality that our forebears could only dream of. Our sub standard on field performance can no longer be seen as a reflection of talent. I'm going to say it: there are dry, dusty poops that I left under the counter in the members kiosk when I was a pup that have more coaching ability than Minties. We as a playing group demand an explanation for why she would drag Gray Day half way through the third after a four kick four goal performance with the match on the line, only to put him back on and remove him again late in the last. Yes it's nice to have her accidentally walk in on you in the showers repeatedly, but the whispers that Qan Waterhouse are investigating suspicious plunges on our opponents continue to grow, and she has the tactical acumen of a mould spore. Just how did you afford that five story expansion of your burrow Minties?

Thanks FK... Had a freakin' ball in both threads

Its great when the oppo join in ... threads get way too serious for some then cry when we go at them

What's the Exie?

Ant Bear and myself up high for us
Exie is the SFA-specific way of measuring performance. Similar to DreamTeam but with slightly greater value for marks and tackles.

In the early days of the SFA, the sim didn't generate a DT score, so Mobbs and someone else came up with the Exie. It's been kept going since.

What a load of BaM psychoread nonsense, Gray Day was not doing the team things off the ball which was why the team conceded 5.4 to one goal in the second quarter essentially costing the game. My expansion of the burrow is a result of the recent lucrative contract extension Millky95 game me based on coaching the team to the elimination final last season.

Hopefully NarrowMind gets back to his Round 1 posting form, may need a little back up targeting Fred, Barrels & CALL ME SNAKE (all follow the Saints in that other football league). May go easy on Fred seeing that he is BF moderator. Barrels should/is easy to bait & reckon SNAKE will bounce back with a bit of witticism.

I'm ashamed to say that I almost believed what you said about Gray Day. The best lies always have a grain of truth. Sadly I'm not sure what to think any more.
